Mayfield specialises in custom made or ready to purchase lighting. Since 1945 we have created quality, customisable lighting in collaboration with designers, makers and buyers.

We believe that lighting has the ability to fundamentally shape living spaces, which is why we create products that give interiors a sense of atmosphere. We work with Australia’s best trade retailers, interior designers and hotel brands, to create living spaces with an inviting warmth, a sense of calm or an injection of energy.

Founder Adi Felder began making and selling lamp shades from a market-stall in Melbourne’s then Glenferrie Markets in late 1945. For Adi, personal relationships mattered, and he went on to create a successful, sustainable and collaborative business, making and selling lamp shades, table and floor lamps from his factory in Hawthorn, Melbourne. Completely self-taught, Adi’s knowledge and legacy has been passed on through three generations of passionate craftspeople. Today, Mayfield is proudly 100% Australian owned and continues to be guided by Adi’s belief in strong personal relationships, integrity and good design.
