Mayfield x Ink & Spindle Workshop
Last month, Mayfield partnered with the experts in fabric printing, Ink & Spindle, for a truly unique hands-on Lamp Shade Workshop experience. Held at Ink & Spindle’s studio in Abbotsford Convent by our in-house lamp shade expert, Fiona, this 2-hour intensive class showcased a step-by-step demonstration of our bespoke custom lamp shade making process. Students mastered the art of lamp shades making and chose from Ink & Spindle’s breath-taking patterned fabric selection.

Everyone executed their newly learnt skills beautifully. All leaving with a custom made lamp shade perfect for their own bedside table, kitchen nook or dining space.
Our lampshade workshops with Ink & Spindle have been incredibly popular so we have listed some more dates, including some Thursday evening classes with cheese, nibbles and non-alcoholic drinks provided (BYO bubbles if you so please!)
